We were talking about the partners our kids would choose when they grow up.
We were advising each other on being open and prepared for their choices, trying to envision the advice we would give them one day when asked about choosing a spouse.
He then mentioned that one day he would tell them the greatest love story in his mind.
Right there and then, my love for him grew exponentially.
Falling in love with him was one of theeeee best and most fun JJJ experiences of my life J
This is for you, I want you to know how much I appreciate you.
I want you to know how you are the other half of me and without you I would be incomplete.
Cheesy words but there are no others fitting to describe it.
You get me even when you don’t.
Every day we change and yet we still fit together perfectly.
We’ve witnessed a lot of “gone too soon’s” recently and just thinking about those partners left behind makes me wanna say…
Treasure your partner, companion, friend, lover, spouse.
Don’t take them for granted especially if you feel they are your match.
There are many cases where people move on, and it’s understandable and realistic.
To my special one…
Anyone else would just be second best.
